Where Have I Been? - Parker Colorado baby child couple family photographer

Hi there!
As you probably guessed, with outdoor, natural light photography, things tend to slow down in the winter months. However, this year, I have slowed WAY down, almost vanishing completely. It's not for lack of desire or client interest, but merely a focus on other things. One of the upsides of having your own business: you can take time off to do what needs to be done for you and your family. Currently, with my family, we are getting in gear to move. We're not moving far away, but moving nonetheless.

We have worked hard in recent months getting our house ready for the market, so you can imagine how my focus has been pulled from photography. We finally got our house on the market, and after just a few days, had competing offers and went under contract. This was not before we had 15 showings in 5 days. I knew it was coming, but it was still tougher than I thought, carting a 2-year-old, a 5-year-old, and an 80 lb dog out and about for hours at a time. As you can imagine, the next few weeks leading up to our closing will be filled with packing, cleaning, packing, and cleaning. Oh and let's not forget, we still don't know where we are moving. Maybe I should move "finding us a house" ahead of all that packing and cleaning.

Bottom line is this: I am still here. :) I am still in love with photography. I am taking clients, but your appointment may have to be scheduled further out than usual, as I'd hate for our session (and your images) to be held back by everything else I have going on. I want my focus to be with you and your shoot, not on the lingering stress and things-to-do checklist I have in my mind. That being said, please don't hesitate to call or e-mail and ask. I will absolutely try my best to work with you and the time frame you need, so we can all get what we want. When we do schedule a shoot, I can guarantee that my focus will be on you.

We are so excited for this next chapter in our lives, moving to a new home that is more suitable for our next years as a family. Thank you all for your understanding now, and please forgive me if I am a little slower than usual at responding. I promise, you are important to me, and I WILL get back to you!! Looking forward to a fun summer full of shooting you wonderful folks! :)

P.S. I did get a chance to get out do a fun shoot with my Alyssa, who will be 6 this week! She suggested the location and we had fun with it, so I will be posting some of those later this week!
